So i have a project that uses Arduino and Bluetooh HC-05 module. Those two devices are going to assembled together and then use smartphone to connect it. When the bluetooth connection between smartphone and arduino device are cut off, automatically trigger alarm on smartphone (of course it use diy application).
So, i didn't need wide area of the bluetooth connection. Then how can i decrease the range of the bluetooth connection via AT Command? Is that possible?

I think you have to use a lower power module.
Are there any AT commands in the HC-05 datssheet that suggest its possible ?
No power de-creasing AT command that I could find.
You could cover the HC-05 with your tin foil hat.
Serious, put the HC-05 in a plastic bag, and wrap some tin foil around it.

Pack the HC-05 in somthing like foil or plastic or other components range will automatically decrease
