Can I use the 5v pin for this 3.3v module?

I'm using the MAX9814 module and I usually connect it to 3.3v because the pin says VDD and usually I connect that to 3.3v. But now I have a specific need and have to connect it to 5v. I found in the datasheet this information:

2.7V to 5.5V Supply Voltage Range

Does that mean that I could either connect it to 3.3 or 5v and it would be fine anyways? Does supply voltage refer to that?

It means what it says:
2.7V to 5.5V Supply Voltage Range

So yes, you can power the module using 5.0 volts. Using an Arduino Uno Rev3 as an example:

Make it like the picture.

God bless you Ron.

It’s good to see someone ask about this , rather than just try something then report “ I think I’ve blown up my …”
