Cannot add Nano Connect to IoT

I have finally managed to install drivers so that Nano Connect is recognised by my PC which is Windows 7, but when I am trying to add it to IoT services, it tries to install drivers again which screws up the drivers that are working and it gets all broken again.

So I have to manually uninstal everything, put a blink.elf file on it and do manual updtate drivers to get it back in working state. So basically I bought IoT board that I cannot use with IoT. I want my money back!

So even though set up process failed on driver install from IoT application, my Nano connect board appeared on IoT things. Marvellous, I thought, finally it will work, until I tried to upload a sketch from IoT editor. It started installing the driver again and failed and screwed up working driver.

So the IoT is trying to install the same driver that came with board core and didn’t work. While I went around it on my desktop, I have no control over the driver IoT is pushing. What is the solution? @pert ? anyone?

Tell you what, seeing that portenta is Mbed too, and you are so bad at Mbed, I will never buy one and will definitely warn others from getting anything Arduino + Mbed. Waste of money.
