Fix please
Same issue here. Also had this issue back in February which was fixed and now it reappears.
I too have this exact same issue when trying to log into https://store-usa.arduino.cc
Hi There. Had the same issue with Win11. I found the work around. Disable IP6 in the adapter settings. Please ARDUINO folks go over this problem.
Yep, that did the trick. I can now log into both my Arduino account and then the store account. Thanks for posting this. Are there any disadvantages to leaving IP6 disabled? I'm currently using the Chrome browser on Windows 10
Same problem here on iPhone. Fix it please.
Are there any disadvantages to leaving IP6 disabled?
A quick google would have me say 'yes'.
@Ardiuno
2 years as frontline customer service for DISH would have me say: Don't play the "please contact support" game to try and obfuscate the scale and root of the problem. You don't have the bank for hoomans to pay lip-service.
Instead of stating: "We are aware of the problem, and don't know how to fix it (or costs too much to fix)." .. you played the 'run-around' card, which works better on segments of population that aren't your target market
?Why is this bad? It sets customer service precedent, degrades trust and erodes goodwill.
Also, it did not address the problem either, as ordering was not a problem, signing in was [so as a customer, why would I waste my time talking to customer service to place an order? ]
So based on your reply, one would waste some time, find it was an unacceptable solution, and be even more pissed that all you wrote was the canned spam "Please contact ..." [customer asks himself: "Were you even listening?"]
$0.02 ... Proof? ... I took the time to write this.
Post_Mortem: What to do differently? Well, instead of asking OP to "contact customer service" after he clearly demonstrated time and effort into finding his own solution and narrowing the scope potential culprits.
Present him with initiative (and don't forget the soft skillz): "Thank you for the report. It seems you have put in considerable effort into finding a solution. I will pass this information along to our {insert team name for this} and update this thread as soon as I have more information." Don't forget resolution "While we wait is there anything else I can help with, does this problem present you more problems than simply signing in?"
Have exactly the same problem. Such a shame their website is garbage.
@ptillisch Same problem for me , I will not contact the support !!!!!!!!
It is to the support to give the solution on this post !!!!
So I cannot login and buy in the shop ! It is a shame this website !
Disable ipV6 is NOT an acceptable solution , direct paypal buying is not too , apple buy does'nt work
Hi all. I apologize for the trouble this limitation has caused you. Unfortunately I am not personally capable of providing a better solution for the affected users to be able to sign in to their Arduino Store account because I don't have any involvement in the management of the Arduino Store software.
I can suggest another workaround though: Official Arduino boards are also available for purchase from the Arduino store on Amazon:
and also from the websites of the many authorized distributors:
You should be able to purchase Arduino products from those sites without difficulty.
Just sending people elsewhere is not a "solution" !
Nor does it address others that may be affected but don't know what to do about it.
@alranel This topic clearly needs an escalation above Per's paygrade.
It is crazy that we have to go to someone else instead of buying it from the real website. Why is this even happening? This is not a real solution.
Hi @snogard27. The official Arduino Amazon store is managed by the Arduino company. So you are assured of the same quality of products and customer service as you would expect when purchasing from the Arduino Store. It is true that Amazon may handle the fulfillment (Arduino supplies the products listed in the store in bulk to Amazon warehouses and then Amazon takes care of shipping each individual order. But this is actually a good thing because Amazon's efficient fulfillment service makes things like free same-day delivery possible.
I have a question. Did you encounter this problem today? I ask because I saw the Arduino Store team were doing some upgrades last week and I was wondering whether the missing support for IPv6 might have been added as a matter of course through some of that work.
Just encountered the same problem a min ago, this means the issue is still active and blocking us to buy from the official website.
Waiting for a solution to sign in, it seems possible to buy with Paypal, Amazon pay or Google Pay.
Can you push this in the backroom as it would appear there is no interest.
But clearly there is an issue affecting a good number of users.
Hi Bob, sorry no I can't. I let my Slack membership lapse when the free trial expired. I never really used it anyway. Seeing the back room people there are also involved in this topic I see no benefit anyway.
Sorry I cannot help.
Same error here trying to log in.
Almost a year after... and no solution. And I cannot have an invoice, because of it.
Any movement on this from Arduino themselves or is it still "go elsewhere" ?
