I have the latest VS Code on Windows and installed the Arduino extension. But I get an error
Please check the "arduino.commandPath" in the User Settings.Requires a restart after change.Cannot find the command file:C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
VS Code equals Visual Studio? If so, which version (2015, 2017,...; community, professional, ...)? It's details that might matter.
I have never used the extension; I assume that you're talking about the visualmicro plugin.
I have no idea what you did wrong as I don't use that but your path is wrong. Find in VS where you define the path for the compiler (see your error message) and modify it.
There is a dedicated visualmicro forum where they might be able to help better.
VS Code is a cross platform editor. A better Notepad++.
OK
Did you check the advise in the error message?
Do you have link to VS Code?
