I have a school project in which I intend to use the ESP32 CAM as a security camera. When someone passes by, I want the output on the Arduino Uno to go high. Initially, I uploaded the code from the examples provided in the Arduino IDE. After that, I had to remove the cable that was used for the program upload. Next, I checked my serial monitor to obtain the IP address for my web server.
However, when I clicked to start the stream, it didn't work, and nothing was displayed. In the screenshot below, you can see the web server, but I'm unable to upload the code because it is too large. If you'd like to view the code, you can navigate to Examples >> ESP32 >> Camera >> CameraWebServer.
Which ESP32 Boardversion are you using?
I got problems with streaming, using something greater than 1.0.6. Might be fixed by one of the 2.X versions, but I have not tested it again.
When I attempted to open my file again, I noticed an error in the file's status. I found it strange because, when I compiled the program, I didn't encounter any errors. Could this be the reason I can't see anything when I click on 'start stream'?
