CDC emulator for Alfa Romeo

Hello,
So i have an arduino R3 and i want to make from it a CDC emulator for an Alfa Romeo 147. I need for the most part for them 2 to communicate and then i'll make an adapter for the aux pins and plug a bluetooth receiver. I don't know anything about the radio itself and neither how to code. :))
I can't find any documentation made for any arduino, just custom made boards and i don't even know if they will work. I don't need any text or control, just the radio to be fooled to wait for aux signal. If possible, i don't want to open the head and solder to it, i want it as plug and play as possible. CDC emulators are expensive as hell, damn...
Thank you for any help.

Sorry if my exprimation is slopy, or anything, this is not my first language.

What does CDC emulator mean?

On the web I found:
" Cockpit Domain Controller (CDC)

  • A virtualization technology that provides a seamless in-vehicle display experience
  • Supports a hardware agnostic multi VM environment
  • Enables feature-on-demand, simple guest VM add-on, and inter VM communication "

and i found too:

Using arduino mega.

The second one, in other words, "cd changer". I found some videos, but none of them are tutorials and i'm to stupid to figure how to make this. Didn't know this could be unclear, sorry.

Describe what a CDC emulator needs to do.

Communicate with the radio, "fooling" it into thinking that a cdc exists and so i can use a bluetooth receiver. If i change the source to cdc and try plugging something to aux pins, nothing happens and it switches itself to fm mode. I think that the emulator needs to communicate throught the data pins and after that i can plug the aux pins whatever i want (phone, bluetooth receiver and so on).

You should learn about the radio and how to code before dumping a pin-out and a picture.

It seems quite complex indeed.
I believe it uses the CAN protocol.

See if you can find the product manual (player) to understand how it works.

I don't really want tbh, i just want to make this so i don't dump 200$. And i didn't found any documentation about the radio, the pinout it's the only thing i could find, neither what i need to learn to make it :))

0 audio quality

That is obvious. You want other people to reverse-engineer a commercial product and supply you with an interface and code to operate it. And you do nothing.

I know it's complex, that's why i need your help .

This is all that i could find, u need to download the pdf.

I did everything i could and known. Thank you for the moral lesson, but i don't need it, i'm already frustrated cause i have barely any information to work with. If u can help, u are welcomed, if not, leave me alone please.

I can't download.

Please, download e and post in your topic.

For me it does work...try copy and paste it in the browser, not clicking it from here
https://easyuplo ad.io/ykl3a6
here, get rid of the space when u paste it. i can't upload files as a new user :frowning:
epost? what's that?

Read 10 posts in 10 topics over 10 minutes (that is easier for me to remember than the real numbers) to gain "posting" privileges (the web site tracks all activity).

Are you saying education is not valid help? In what world? Do you understand an equalizer for the lack of education is cash? I understand wanting to make a cheap widget to work, but you do not even understand the depth of what you are asking, and you consider other people's time and knowledge less valuable than your time and knowledge.

Typical.

Thank u

Uhm, what education? and it's sure not helping if at least u are not teaching me how to do this. I understand that is complicated and it takes time, but if someone wants to help me...
if not, I'll wait for when i'll have the money to buy one. If i understood in depth, i wouldn't make this post. i'm stupid, i know, but i can't even find similar enough projects an explained to learn from them. I'm searching cheaper solutions for quite some time already and just today i found the board schematic.
I'm not considering people's time less valuable, i just don't want to wait idk, 2 months maybe till i can buy one.

maybe

You expect "education" to be a gift in a box? If you want your project to happen, you need to apply yourself - teach yourself. Read a schematic. Read a book about reading schematics, basic electricity, basic electronics, audio systems.

You think people with knowledge were just born with their knowledge? Somehow you think two months is too much, but never consider the years of education combined with the decades of practice is worth less than your two months?

Do you plan on doing most of the work?

Why not do it yourself... then you can copyright "DIY" as an acronum, because I am certain at least ten people in the world will want to use that in describing their work.

And that is the problem. The problem is not that you have a working device that you want to break just to add an audio jack, but that you expect to do none of the work, and to be given step-by-step instruction.

Read a book. Read several.
