Chinese motor driver help

Hi,

I got this motor driver out of a chinese kit and I can't get it to work.

U2 is a mx1508s ic. U1 has nothing written on it. The yellow connectors are 3 pin inputs labeled ground, voltage and pwm. The red connector is for powering the module/motors and the white connectors are for motor output. I tried sending different voltages to the pwm pins but nothing happens.

Can anyone help me figure out what does U1 do and how to control this motor driver?

Thanks!
-George

You can just send voltages and hope - it’s easy to destroy .
Get the data sheets for the chips and trace the connections .
Might be something on the manufacturers web site too

Also see how to work it , software wise

From the labelling you might guess that the PWM pin expects to see a PWM signal rather than a voltage!! Try this link:

Hi, @George1337
Welcome to the forum.

What kit did you get it from?

Can you post a link to where you purchased it?

What else came in the kit?

Thanks.. Tom... :+1: :coffee: :australia:
