My arduino project is powered with a 3.7 V lipo. Generally I use the Pololu S7V7F5 step-up/down voltage regulator to increase voltage to 5V and supply power to the board and the rest of circuit. I read on product specification that it can supply to 500 mA when used as a step-up. Now I need more that 500 mA, let's say 2 A. Can you suggest a similar product? Or can you suggest how to built a circuit to increase voltage to exactly 5V? Thanks, valerio
You can use www.linear.com/solution
There are lots of boost regulators on eBay.

Thanks a lot. I completely missed to better check the Pololu page. I think this link is perfect: Pololu step-up voltage regulators
