Two things you should be aware of, the easyeda eagle translator doesn't always translate correctly, Arduino does not guarantee that the schematics and layout are correct.

is there a better planning option than easy eda?

What do you mean by bettor? I like OrCAD and KiCAD

Interesting, when I open the eagle files in altium 360, the Controllers name is also -15AU

When I look at the mini altium 360 viewer on the arduino shop page, everything is correct, but when I hit the little altium sign bottom left and load the brd and sch files from the arduino store, then it is being displayed incorrect.

especially for the 1kOhm Resistor networks I couldn't find any suitable parts. Also, is it possible to replace the ATMEGA2560-15AU with the -16AU?
