Compile issues with UNO WIFI Rev2

After installing all boards/libraries etc with new RPi OS upgrade everything works really smooth. The arduino IDE 1.8.19 runs well...
I can compile and upload for all my different boards except the UNO WIFI Rev2. I have removed board def, reinstalled, rebooted, installed prior versions and nothing seems to get over this error...
It was working before the upgrade.

Adding additional verbose error messages...

PLEASE SOME HELP NEEDED...

This is the version of gcc I'm using...gcc (Debian 12.2.0-14) 12.2.0
I have removed arduino15, rebuilt the boards and I'm still getting this issue. I have read posts on many forums about how gcc dropped support for atmega4809 but that was 5 major releases ago so I'd hope that had been resolved.
As I said earlier, it was working before I upgraded the RPi to bookworm from bullseye.
If there is somewhere else I should be asking this point me in the right direction.
If there is another org such as RPI that I should be asking this please let me know.
As I said earlier, everything worked well before the OS upgrade. I am not moving backwards with OS's so my choices are find a solution to the issues or trash all the Arduino WIFI Rev2 boards I have...
Can someone point me in the right direction.
Thanks
