Hi all. Can anyone please ID the component attached and the rating please? Not quite sure what it is but it's designed apoarently to stop flickering of LED lights through a dimmer switch.
Thanks.

Hi,
Google;
fibar bypass
Looks like it is for a particular dimmer product.
Where in the circuit of the dimmer does it fit?
Tom..

PS. Note that it will only work for trailing edge mode dimmers.
My friend has one and it connects to the first LED in the chain apparently.
However it looks like a generic kind of capacitor or resister or other component with their name branded onto it. And seeing as they are £10 each I thought the standard unbranded component would be a lot cheaper.
But if it's not just a standard cap or whatever, god knows what's in it.
