Connecting a micro switch to a coil

we need to connect a microswitch to a coil, the coils RS code is 8947, UK 348 908, 12v 185 ohm, that then needs to connect to a motor so when the switch is thrown the polarity is reversed and the motor will go into reverse

What??? Is there a question in there somewhere?

Is that a coil or a relay? If it's a relay (with the contacts connected correctly to the motor), then you just need to run 12V through the microswitch to the 12V relay-coil.

Is that a DC motor or an AC motor? A DC motor is easy to reverse with a DPDT relay. Some AC motors are not reversable.

sorry about the phrasing, its pretty late and this is pretty stressful as we had to make a drastic change in our project at the last minute because our original idea was going nowhere and we had been working on it for weeks. Its a DC motor, and im sure its a coil relay. Does the coil go to the positive and negative of the power supply, and the six relay pins are what we connect the micro switch and the motor to?

Why do you send the diagram?

...so when the switch is thrown the polarity is reversed and the motor will go into reverse

You should consider stopping the motor before you reverse the polarity - unless it is a very very small motor.
