I'm fairly new to using arduino's and working with code but I do have a fair amount of electrical experience. My goal is to build an autonomous tracked vehicle that will use the arduino to read gps cordinats and then adjust motor speed to stay on its course. I wanted to put my wiring plan out there to see if anyone has suggestions or see's problems with my plan. The arduino will provide analog or pwm signals to two vfd's (one for each side to allow it to turn) the VFD's will be connected to a generator supplying 220 volts to each vfd and then each vfd will be connected to a 2 hp motor to drive each track. Thanks for your input and ideas.
Please post a link to the technical manual of the VFD.
Have a think about GPS accuracy - few meters? And it’s speed of response .
Where is it?
Why have you selected an R4?
