Controlling a circutboard with arduino

So i want to controll this remote controller and all i want is to connect one button to the arduino so the arduino can "press the button" and what i have done is solder two wires to try which one that is the correct one but when i connect either one of the wires to pin 8 and send a signal from the arduino nothing happens :cold_sweat:.

Any help is appreciated! :slight_smile:

You need to figure that out first. Also what is ground so you can connect the ground.
If the button is in a matrix, you may need a optical coupler.

Nothing... =(

If indeed nothing happens when you touch the two wires together, then you must have them soldered to the wrong two terminals.
