Completely new to adruino. I want to create a tool which provides sounds alerts when there is sudden movements. I want this tool to be given to my loved ones to make sure they drive safely. When ever there is sudden forward acceleration, sudden stopping and sudden sideways movements, there should be a sound alert. So eventually this tool should make their driving more controlled. Thanks in advance. Please advise what advises you have on this project.
Start specifying how it will be powered and look for a suitable sensor detecting the actions You want to monitor.
In what? The driver, the car, both, or other?

Check out Arduino accelerometer projects. A device like that could be run off of a battery, but I'd be concerned about leaving it in a hot car.
Keep working on the specification of the rest.
They probably already are driving with a phone that has an accelerometer and a gyro. Write an app for that.
... or use one of the existing ones.
