Every time I either attempt to create a Thing or a Sketch it brings me back to my Home page (screenshot attached) I'm following a guide so from what I understand I need to first create a Thing before my board will be recognized but Im not sure. I appreciate any help.
I did submit a ticket about board not being recognized and my micro cable has data because I see board in Windows Device Manager and I am running Cloud Agent with admin permissions*
I've had the same problem today with my new unoR4. Switched browser from Firefox to MS Edge and all seems to be ok.
Hi @olof.
I'm sorry about the problem with Arduino Cloud. Are you still experiencing the issue if you try it again now? I tried various things to see if I could reproduce the problem in my own Arduino Cloud account, but was not able to. It might have been a problem that only existed for a short time and has since been resolved.
There is no requirement to create a Thing in order for the board to be recognized. If you want to make an Arduino Cloud IoT project, then you do need to create a Thing, but you also have the option of creating non-IoT sketches in Arduino Cloud and the non-IoT sketches don't use Things at all.
Which board are you using?
Did you experience the "not recognized" problem while creating an Arduino Cloud IoT Device, or while using Arduino Cloud Editor?
