Based on the following circuit, could my camera controller (LANC), be "drawing" power from the camera battery when it's own battery gets low?

You really had me fooled at first using what looks like an IC symbol to represent the Arduino PC board.
Based on the following circuit, could my camera controller (LANC), be "drawing" power from the camera battery when it's own battery gets low?
It doesn't seem to have it's own battery.

At fritzing.org you can download a free schematic software/program that includes the Arduino board and a number of other boards/chips. That way, your schematics can have the Arduino board.
I've just started using it, but I like it. You can also look at http://www.richardvannoy.info/arduino.php and see a couple of simple Fritz drawings I made.
