Daisy chain CD74HC4067

Hey all I was wondering if this would be the correct way of daisy chaining 3 CD74HC4067 together?

I'm pretty sure that's how I've done it before with HC4051's so you should be OK.

  • Always add de-coupling capacitors on all your power pins.

  • Make sure data input is between 3v3 to 0v

I think it will give 1 analog signal out of 48. What part are you using the Schematic shows a different part?

Which part is different?

The part number CD40675M / CD74HC4067 Different families same pinout and function.

Yeah just now noticed that. They should all be labeled CD40675M.

If I never made that mistook I would have never caught it:-)

I've been finding some schematics of Mux in daisy chaining and it looks like EN goes to GRN while the "Z" (COM) goes to a different GPIO pin:

So now im not sure how this should be hooked up....

  • The Z pins go to Analog inputs on the Arduino.
The Y0-15 pins go to 0 to 3V3 inputs.
