Dfplayer no sound no led on

Hi guys,

I'am new, I have installed dfplayer on my brainboard but nothing happen.

I have used arduino to tranfert electric power to the dfplayer and I have installed speaker and I can hear just like little blast coming from the speaker but nothing more.

The music should play automaticly, I have one mp3 track named 0001.mp3

The led is blue when I use little battery or when I connect the ground to the buzy port.

electric power from arduino :

  • Arduino GND -> GND
  • Arduino 5V -> VCC

Speaker:
SPK1 -> Red speaker
SPK2 -> Black Speaker

Why do you think the music should play automatically? Your program needs to instruct it to play something.

I'd start with this library and get the examples working

Because by default the music play auto, it's defined already in the dfplayer mini, not need any program.

By pushing bouton you can increase or decrease volume or play next music.

Where did you see this? That's not how the DF Players I've worked with behave.

It's simply waiting for a command to start playing; you can of course connect a number of buttons to it but even so it won't start playing until you press a button (in AD key mode - scroll down a little you have a.o. a "pause/play" button available).
