DHT-22 Sensor giving 0 values

Hi,
Have been playing around with a DHT-22 temp / humidity sensor and it is currently spitting out a 0 value for temperature and humidity. Luckily I bought 2 while I was at it and plugged the second sensor in and it is reading data perfectly, so obviously it is something that I have done to the sensor that is at fault.

I guess what I am wondering is if there is a way to reset the sensor / anyway of recovering it to get it to work? I guess I am thinking that somehow I have managed to change the calibration figures making it spit out the zeros - or is it a case I have prematurely ended the sensors life??

Any thoughts on what I can try would be appreciated.

You can try my - Arduino Playground - DHTLib - It identifies some errorconditions;

Might be helpfull to identify where the problem lies.

Further find attached the datasheet , on the last page there is a procedure to reset the device, don't know if it will help you, use at own risk (all disclaimers apply)
