I am pretty much sure this is not the right place to ask, but didn't have the slightest idea where.

What software to use to make a diagram for a board?
Something like this one here:

Or any similar...

If I wanted to draw something like that, I would probably use Gimp.

Any vector graphic package would do. Even keynote or PowerPoint could do this.

What sort of diagram?
A schematic diagram.

A PCB diagram.
