Differences between logical converters

Hello,

I cannot understand what is the difference between:

Adafruit 4-channel I2C-safe Bi-directional Logic Level Converter - BSS138 (4-channel I2C-safe Bi-directional Logic Level Converter [BSS138] : ID 757 : $3.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits)

and

Sparkfun Logic Level Converter (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8745)

It seems to me they are equal, and both bi-directional, or am I wrong? The only difference is the price from my distributor adafruit one costs 3 times sparkfun...

Thank you,
dk

The SparkFun one is only a two channel converter. The Ada is a 4 channel converter.

Hi, thank you for your reply.. to me it seems both are 4 channels..

But you see they are not now?

hum.. yes, thank you, I think I made confusion since they both have 6 pins..
I have understood they work in this way: the Sparkfun has two pins per channel (rx and tx, 2 mono directional), while the Adafruit has 4 bi directional channels..
:cold_sweat:

I think I made confusion since they both have 6 pins..

But the Ada one has 12 pins? Six on each side.

Yes, correct, I meant they both have 6 pins on each side..
