DIGITAL THERMOMETER USING ARDUINO

Hi all,

I was wondering if i could hack a digital thermometer and transmit the result to Arduino Uno for getting the body temperature.

The idea is to use the digital thermometer in getting the body temperature and transmit it to arduino to able to display the result in the computer

Any ideas?
Hope you can help me out
Regards

Turn off the CAPS Lock, looks like you're shouting.

What kind of outputs are available from the digital therm? What kind of chip is in it?

Get a cheap sensor like an LM35 or LM335

THERE ARE LOTS OF WAYS. GOOGLE ARDUINO AND TEMPERATURE.
YOU WILL FIND WAYS WITH CODE AND EVERYTHING.

If the idea is to get a body temperature, I'm not sure it's a good idea. Anyhow, he wants to hack his existing thermometer.

dunno.... thought maybe the OP was hard of hearing ?

The Chip model is SHT-02/V2

im having a hard time to a schematic diagram of the chip

it only outputs a digital number output for body temperature nothing more.

its just a simple digital thermometer for body temperature that is power by a LR41 cell button battery.
