Disconnect DALI bus line

Hello everyone,

I build and tested following circuit using a Arduino Nano as DALI-controller.

The DALI-Bus is powered from a certified DALI power supply.

My design includes 4 "Nano-Dali-Controller" with 6-15 DALI loads each. The "ND-Controller" is the master of each subset of loads and crosstalk should be permitted.

Every Controller should only be allowed to communicate with its dedicated loads. My idea is that, a flyback diode "cuts" the signal line without limiting the bus power.

Is this possible?
