Display Shield of giga r1 do not display anything !

Hi.

I've got a problem.
I've test some basic demo for my new display shield but the screen do not display anything

I've test "ArduinoLogoDrawing" demo (and some other demos...)

How can I know if the display Shield is broken or if it's works ?
Is there anything to do except plug the display shield into the giga r1 ?

Thank's

You must have the giga mbed installed in the ide..and the giga display gfx there is a few of them lvgl I think is one that is more advanced...I got it to display

I think I installed all possible libraries.
But there is no "giga mbed" library

Should I install this ?

I'm sorry in boards manager you will find the giga mbed

Ah OK. I'm going to test this evening.
Thank you so much :+1:

Them make sure to select it from the drop down list of boards and ports

Unfortunately, everything was already installed and it still doesn't work.

The program is correctly transfered.
If I write to the console it's working (so the gira r1 works)

But the screen stay definitively black !
If there is a problem, this is the Display Shield.

I have the same issue. All demos display in serial. IMU and touch. RGB LED works, as does the microphone. I tried the backlight example and it appears to work as well. I'm trying everything i can think of but nothing seems to work.

Same issue! They have screwed up a bunch of lot!

So far I haven't returned mine.
I wanted to buy another one to find out if it came from the gigabyte or the screen, but since they have some stock problems...

I have the same issue with the Giga R1 and Giga Display I received yesterday. I received a second Giga R1 today, but still no luck. All the libraries seem to be installed correctly, the sketch builds and uploads, but nothing on the display. The Giga Display RGB led demo works fine. Other non-screen examples work fine. I'm waiting for another screen to arrive later today and will try that one and report back.

Just a follow-up here. My new Giga Display arrived and is working! Note that I didn't make any changes to the software. I'm running the ArduinoLogoDrawing.ino example. So it appears to be a problem with the Giga Display itself. I will return the bad screen and the other Giga R1.

Cool.
Good news.

I just found this thread of giga display issues, it sounds like my only option is to keep buying displays until I find one that works?

Has everyone else came to this same conclusion?

I’ve been working with tech support for 2 days now and I think they are running out of things to ask me to test or do.

Did you buy another?

Did you end up getting a working solution?

If your Giga Display doesn't power up or display anything, contact Arduino Support Team via Contact us with complete details of the issue, test you have done and include your purchase receipt. They will assist you.
