I can't see modbus tcp in the connection list after installing version 1.0.6
I tried reinstalling it again and same error as before. Has this happened to anyone before and knows how to get out of this situation?
I have the same problem, strange since the exact install on my laptop is showing TCP
I have maintained an email conversation with Arduino support:
'Modbus TCP over Ethernet is still available but only in running applications (connection between devices). However, it is no longer available for connecting to Arduino PLC IDE for debugging purposes or updating the code.'
I hope this option will be reverted in future PLC-IDE releases...
Thank you for answering this! Following these tutorials is frustratingly slow.
For an industrial device, why are we messing with this anyway? Shouldn't it be SSH by now? Hopefully that is why they took this away; to prepare for a mature TCP/IP interface?
I am using PLC_IDE 1.0.7.0.
Will it work if I go back to an earlier version?
Where do I find the older versions?
Use pure Logic Lab like Pixsys PLC. I hope finder will get out some solutions more industrial.
