Hey is possible to made domelight supervision intirior light to control it with arduino ?
What do you mean by domelight supervision? I just looked it up and found two different definitions.
Paul
Almost certainly depending on what a 'domelight supervision intirior light' is.
Details please.
Domelight supervision this have newest car this module control intirior light for example
When you unlock your car then light go slowly on and when you start the car the light go slowly off
When you unlock your car and don't open the door then domelight go auto off while 5min
Domelight supervision is controler for you're intirior light
In that case the, yes, it is possible to use an Arduino for that purpose.
You should be aware though that a car is a very challenging electrical environment in which to operate because of potential voltage spikes on the supply.
potential voltage
Is that a tautology? XD
Perhaps I should have said that the current voltage at any time can be very high
current voltage
Oxymoron?
Oi !
Watch who you are calling a moron
My problem is finding the module which controls the dome light in my Forester in order to replace the control transistor after I blew it by shorting out the lamp whilst fitting a LED substitute module.
Since manufacturers are particularly careful not to supply service information
What has this to do with the OP question? Well, a microcontroller such as Arduino uses is exactly what is used in cars to provide this function, but requires a (reasonably sturdy) control transistor or FET to actually switch the lamp and control the dimming using PWM. you can often discern the "steps" in the dimming algorithm.
