I clicked somewhere in the Serial Monitor window to select it as active, and it became full screen without any option to minimize or close the window.
I do not know if it is a bug, but I could not find any option to get my editor window back.
I only could open a new window (editor instance) Ctrl-Shft+N, and close the old one.
But then the filename changed to *.ino.ino. , another feature I am not aware of?
It's waiting for your attached Ardino to send something. Did you try the "ESCAPE" key?
I tried all the usual key combinations, none did help, even sending data from the Arduino (through reset) did nothing.
Hi @Xinonix. The views such as "Output" in the bottom and main panels of the Arduino IDE go full screen when you double click on their tabs. I'm sure that is what happened.
You can restore them to normal by double clicking the tab once more.
