Electronic viewfinder from old camcorder(not really Arduino but still cool)

And then comes the time when i need help salvaging some old hardware...
I disassembled an old vhs camcorder and found really interesting things, one of these is an old electronic viewfinder, consisting of a small crt tube.
Now, i searched really a lot on the net but can't really find anything on this model, i maged to get it on and see the crt light but it's still a luck and i don't have idea on how it's wired!
The model is evf6830 from philips, i attach some pictures, if anybody can help me with this, i would really appreciate

You'll probably find a 50Hz 1V (peak white 1000mV black at 300mV) CCIR video signal will work it.
Try the TVout library.

Oh, and watch your fingers arounfd the back end of the CRT - it may be small, but it'll still pack a punch!

Thanks for the reply! I have to check it out, but most of my problems are in finding the correct inputs for power and video signal!

So, you found the power connections.

You need to to show better pictures of the important bits, like the ends of the cable.

i got some more picture to better show

Nobody can help?

I have a few of these working, you will probably find the power is 5v (must be well reg). They take about 120ma when running. The other two wires are composite video and horizontal sync. You can get both from the outputs from the trout lib. Make sure you get the gnd correct, apply 5 to the other power rail, and then try either of the other two till you get a pic  If you get it wrong the circuit can 'scream' a little so you'll know if they aren't right. they're great once running!

Just to clarify for others - only do this if you are very sure about what you are doing - there are high voltages present - even when running off a battery.

To find gnd the surest way is to split open and check out the tracks as the Op has done. It should be easy to spot the other power rail after this by looking for input smoothing caps.

The other two wires I have always found just by quick experiment - the circuit probably isn't going to respond well to out of spec input signals - turn it off immediately if you hear any whistling sounds - it should be near silent when running.

Again be careful around the whole tube and pcb.
