I am trying to make an EMG sensor using this and an Arduino nano. I am a kinesiology student and have no idea how to do this. I tried following this (https://www.engineersgarage.com/arduino-based-emg-monitor-ad8226/) to no avail. Any good starting points/people who have successfully done this with the same sensor?
Please post a link to the product page for that EMG sensor set.
Usually, "getting started" code and instruction is supplied by the seller, and there are relevant posts with code on this forum. Use the forum search box to find them.
That looks pretty complete and easy to follow steps. Did you correspond with the help people and get any answers?
Please tell us exactly what does no avail mean? What did you get and how is that different from what the web site reports?
Yep, same one as in the tutorial you tried to follow.
Forum members need a lot more information to help. Please read and follow the instructions in the "How to get the best out of this forum" post, linked at the head of every forum category.
Be sure to post a close-up, focused picture of the circuit board and wiring.
I checked your link, and have seldom seen more clear, understandable instructions. What part tripped you up, connecting the battery, the two wires to the UNO or the sensor to your arm?
Perhaps it was the code? Did the copy/paste not work?
If you tell us what exactly went wrong, perhaps someone can help.
What did you do that was to no avail? Describe what you did, what you used, what you saw, what you expected to see.
The electrodes are not reusable. You need to buy new fresh electrodes.
