Failed to install platform: arduino:avr

Hi Forum,
After updating to IDE 2.1.1 I get the following Error Message:
Pakete werden heruntergeladen
arduino:avr-gcc@7.3.0-atmel3.6.1-arduino7
arduino:avrdude@6.3.0-arduino17
arduino:arduinoOTA@1.3.0
arduino:avr@1.8.6
Failed to install platform: arduino:avr.
Error: 13 INTERNAL: Server responded with: 404 Not OK

I've uninstalled Arduino IDE, cleaned up my Windows 11 and re-installed, but no success.

Can anyone help me here please.

Hi @rsponi. Does the problem still occur if you try again now?

This type of problem might be caused by a transient network outage. These usually resolve themselves after a matter of minutes; hours at worst. If so in this case, I would expect you would no longer experience the problem now.

Hi Ptillisch,

it didn’t go away, but after installing the newest version of IDE it somehow disappeared.

So all good now.

Thanks for taking the time to post an update. I'm glad it is working now.
