Feed a heart rate monitor with an Arduino

Hi there,
has anyone ever tried to feed a signal into a heart rate monitor using an Arduino.
So that the Arduino mimics the heart beat.

Why i want to do that?
I got an very good elliptical trainer, but it only supports rather old Polar straps like the T34 where you can hardly change the battery without breaking them.

On the other Hand i have a modern Polar H7 heart rate monitor which does not really good works on that 5,3kHz band.

So my Idea is: capture the signal of the H7 via bluetooth and than feed the heart beats into the pcb of the old T34 chest strap.
The problem i have now, i dont know how to mimic the heart beat with the arduino.

Anyone got an idea?

Okay nevermind. The solutions is dead simple. Everytime you short the ecg pads will be recognized as one heart beat.
So simply hook up a transistor between the pads and you can simulate a heart.

I would use the EKG probes to inject a lifelike signal from my built-in heart.

Either that is simply a bad joke or you dont understand what i am trying to do.

Nevermind, solved for me.

Electrokardiograph. Calibration would be your own heart. Very realistic. Or, if you prefer a joke, please, pardon my electrokardiogrammar.
