I added some electrical tape to the top of the Ethernet jack, and now everything works!

I want to log accelerometer readings from a Tinkerkit Sensor Shield accelerometer to a SD card using an Ethernet shield. The problem though is when connecting an Arduino Uno + Ethernet Shield+Tinkerkit Sensor Shield to the USB port of my computer, I get an error saying: Power surge on the USB port. You can see the full error message in the attachments. I've also attached the Arduino and shields I'm using in case that helps. Is there a solution to my woes?

Does the problem still occur if you plug only the Uno into your computer?
What about with only the Uno + Ethernet Shield?
What about with only the Uno + Tinkerkit Sensor Shield?
The Arduino and shields power fine with the following configurations:
only the Uno + Tinkerkit Sensor Shield connected to PC via USB
only the Uno + Ethernet Shield connected to PC via USB
The Arduino does not work with the following conifgurations:
Uno + Ethernet Shield + Tinkerkit Sensor Shield connected to PC via USB. This results in the USB power surge error
Juraj:
the connector shield contacts touch the Ethernet connector. put isolation tape on top of the Ethernet connector
