I have a WS2812B LED strip that I would like to use for a miniature diorama. I would be using at most 3 (most likely just 2) of the LEDs connected to an Arduino Uno to program fading and color changing. What gauge wire is recommended? The exact LED strip I have is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097BX7LRT?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1 . TIA!
Each WS2812 LED takes at most 50mA, so three would be 150mA
Standard Arduino jumpers, or 22 gauge solid core wire would be overkill. It is good for 7 amps inside a box, and 0.92 amps unprotected. 22 gauge would be overkill for 0.150A Solid core pokes into the headers OK.
If you want something hair-like to hide in the diorama, the smallest gauge to safely carry 150mA in a diorama/chassis box might be 36 gauge.
