Dear all,

When inputting the following program I received the error message

Which version of the IDE?
Which Arduino?
How about showing the complete error message which will tell you which line the error is on?
Use Tools|Auto Format to indent your code properly.
You have at least one undeclared variable - Signal.

Pete

Where is
loop(){
//code
}

This is actually part of a program. The loop function is in the previous program.

Post (or Attach) the whole code. Can't find Syntax problems with just part of the sketch.

@chessy didn't write that code so there probably isn't a complete program.
It is identical to the code in message #4 of Arduino and sensor - Sensors - Arduino Forum
which is identical to the code in message #1 of trying to make pulse sensor amped restful using yun - Arduino Yún - Arduino Forum
and before that message #1 of Arduino UNO - Controling LED strip with presure sensor & pulse sensor - LEDs and Multiplexing - Arduino Forum

ISR(TIMER2_COMPA_vect){                         // triggered when Timer2 counts to 124

I don't see a type specifier on that line. Did you mean:

void ISR(TIMER2_COMPA_vect){                         // triggered when Timer2 counts to 124

?

ISR() is a macro that puts the appropriate type and attributes in place.
ISR(TIMER2_COMPA_vect){
is the proper syntax.
