GPS sensors/modules

hi everyone, it's been one month but my neo6mv2 still hasn't light its led which means it still hasn't found any satellite. Can you suggest other gps sensor or module that we can use? thank you in advance

Hello antonetteeee

Take a search engine of your choice and ask the WWW for 'GPS +arduino' to collect some data to be sorted out to get the needed information.

Have a nice day and enjoy coding in C++

I assume it’s all connected properly, and your antenna has clear uninterrupted sight of the sky.

Maybe a photo or two of your setup….
Antenna outdoors preferably - at least you can prove it’s working as expected.

When connected to an appropriate power supply, and when they have a working antenna connected, these GPSs do work, so there is something wrong with yours or its connections.

Hi, @antonetteeee

Please post your code and a schematic of your project.
A coupe of pictures of your project would help too.

Thanks... Tom.. :grinning: :+1: :coffee: :australia:

There are lots of reports of counterfeit Neo6 GPS modules. If you buy one from a reputable supplier, they are guaranteed genuine.

You do have to be outside, with a clear view of the sky. GPS modules very rarely work indoors.

Indeed.

If you're lucky, they might work if placed on a windowsill.

If the antenna is separate, and on a suitably long cable, put the antenna outside - but, even then, you could still be in the "shadow" of the building.
