GPS tracking project.

Hi, I’d like you to advice me about a project i need to make:

It would be with a few Arduinos UNO, each one with one of this shields:http://www.dfrobot.com/wiki/index.php/GPS/GPRS/GSM_Module_V3.0_(SKU:TEL0051), it says it has GPRS/GSM, but the web only speaks about calls and sms, nothing about connecting to a IP:Port to send data…

What i want to make is to place a SIM card in one of those (UNO + Shield); and I want them to do that every 10 minutes they send their GPS localization to a server. And from that, getting to know where the devices were in a google maps map, more or less like this: PROTOTIPO ARDUINO UNO + GPS + GPRS SHIELD - GPS TRACKER EN TIEMPO REAL - YouTube

I have no idea how to do it, and i really need to, so if somebody could help…

If you must know thr position in real time, let the board send SMS every now and then. It may be easier to just log position to an SD-card, (csv-file) and then import this file to web-utilitie to get your 3D presentation of the flight

There is some example on setting up the GPRS on the arduino folder. However, it will depend mostly on your provider settings. You might need to search a bit to get the right ones, or give them a call.

The code works well, but needs a bit of tweaking.

So with this I can connect to the IP of the server with the shield? I'll take a look, thanks!

EDIT: Reading the server files, it seems that it only works with one (Arduino+Shield), and i want it to work with multiple of those devices... Will it be difficult to do? I know a bit of Arduino programming, but nothing about web programming...

EDIT2: Reading the .ino and the server files, now i know how to make what i want. Thank you!
