Hi All, newbie to the forum. I have purchased a esp32 5.0" lcd. I have previously always used arduino devices with no or little problems. I am going mad trying to get this display to do anything. Even Chatgpt for my sins, it is not doing anything. Does anyone know this unit or have ant ideas

The library should have a working example. If you are having problems with that piece of code you will need to post it and your annotated schematic along with lilnks to technical information on each of the devices giving technical information.
Same experience with the Guition ESP32-S3 JC8048W550 5" display. I'm a newbie with ESP32 boards and it's been years since I've use Arduino programming. I've been working through the various instructions for updating the firmware, but I'm having little success. Currently, I'm using the Arduino IDE (as suggested by the manufacturer) and it appears to write to the module, but ends with "Hard resetting via RTS pin..." I've tried pressing the reset button on the module, pressing boot, then reset, then release boot, and just pressing boot. Nothing happens. Could someone point me in the right direction so I can figure out how to move forward? Thanks.
