Hand gesture sensor Paj7620 is not working

I have a project submission.It would be really kind if someone helps me to figure out the problem.Here inside the void loop in if statement I set condition for both pushbutton and gesture but the gesture isn't working and can anyone tell me what is the purpose of PIN_AUTOPLAY ?

You never call gestureDetect()

Are you missing Gesture.h?

no I am not missing Gesture.h but can you help me where should I call gestureDetect???I tried to call it in the attachInterrupt like this attachInterrupt(0,gestureDetect,FALLING) but still gesture isn't working

You are probably making mistakes on copy/paste. Show a link to the original source of this sketch.

Again... a copy/paste issue. Use Arduino's method of calling an ISR...

gesture_ckt
ckt is totally same like this except I add a pushbutton on pin 2

I followed your link and my code seems kinda okay

It would really helpful if you mention the change in the code

It would be even more helpful if you provided the information you were asked...

I just followed a youtube video where he post the drive link of the code.Here the link of the video

I just added a gesture(paj7620)

Post the original code here.

Pasted.

If UP/DOWN are needed, the library for the gesture device has an example.

I saw the example and make some changes to the code.up/down are not needed I just needed to know if any kind of hand movement is occurred or not . That's I checked it by using bool gesture_val

here i make some changes in example code and it's working totally fine

#include <Wire.h>
#include "paj7620.h"
#include <LiquidCrystal_I2C.h>
LiquidCrystal_I2C lcd(0x27, 16, 2);

#define GES_REACTION_TIME 300 // You can adjust the reaction time according to the actual circumstance.
#define GES_ENTRY_TIME 500 // When you want to recognize the Forward/Backward gestures, your gestures' reaction time must less than GES_ENTRY_TIME(0.8s).
#define GES_QUIT_TIME     1000

void setup()
{
  lcd.init();
  lcd.backlight();
  Serial.begin(9600);

  Serial.println("\nPAJ7620U2 TEST DEMO: Recognize 9 gestures.");

  lcd.setCursor(0, 0);
  lcd.print("    Gesture    ");
  lcd.setCursor(0, 1);
  lcd.print("  Recognition  ");
  delay(4000);

  uint8_t error = 0;

  error = paj7620Init();      // initialize Paj7620 registers
  if (error)
  {
    Serial.print("INIT ERROR,CODE:");
    Serial.println(error);
    lcd.clear();
    lcd.setCursor(0, 0);
    lcd.print("INIT ERROR,CODE:");
    lcd.setCursor(0, 1);
    lcd.print(error);
    delay(3000);
  }
  else
  {
    Serial.println("INIT OK");
    lcd.clear();
    lcd.setCursor(0, 0);
    lcd.print("INIT OK");
    delay(3000);
  }
  Serial.println("Please input your gestures:\n");
  lcd.clear();
  lcd.setCursor(0, 0);
  lcd.print("Input Your");
  lcd.setCursor(0, 1);
  lcd.print("Gestures");
  delay(3000);
}

void loop()
{
  uint8_t data = 0, error;

  error = paj7620ReadReg(0x43, 1, &data);       // Read Bank_0_Reg_0x43/0x44 for gesture result.
  if (!error)
  {
    if(data!=0){
      lcd.clear();
      lcd.setCursor(0, 0);
      lcd.print("gesture checked");
      delay(GES_QUIT_TIME);
    }
  }
}

I think I have to use gestureDetect function in attachInterrupt but if I do that then the game don't work properly

You did not use the interrupt as the link instructed... you should correct the button interrupt and then create a gesture interrupt. Did you look at the interrupt link?

Yes I look at the link and try to create gesture interrupt by writing the following code:

 attachInterrupt(0, gestureDetect, RISING);

did I make any mistake if yes can you tell me where ?

Your line of code is not wrong, but that is the button pin. What pin is your gesture device on?

The safer way to attach an interrupt is:

attachInterrupt(digitalPinToInterrupt(gesturePin), gestureDetect, RISING);

this gesture has 5 pin. SDA(connected with A4 pin),SCL(connected with A5 pin),VCC(5V),GND and one INT pin.
I don't know what's the purpose of INT pin

INT pin? Can you show an example? (I do not want to assume "interrupt")

Interrupts are only on Pin2 and Pin3 for Arduino Uno/Nano.

here look at the bottom pin. I didn't connect it with any pin.
