I didn't know which section to put this in so I just put it here.
I need a solenoid valve that can:
-screw onto a garden hose
-operate at extremely low water pressures (essentially down to zero psi)
-controlled with 12v or less
What type of solenoid valve is for this sort of application? I've heard of gravity fed. All of the valves I've seen have a minimum psi of 3 or so psi, or they are super heavy duty and therefore expensive. Will I just have to bite the bullet and get an expensive one for this application is there a certain type that is good for this application?

Thank you all very much
The reason for the minimum PSI is they use a quite weak magnetic solenoid to begin the opening and let the water pressure difference help to open the valve. That way the solenoid does not heat up very much and the water will aid in cooling the solenoid.
The ones at no pressure minimum use the solenoid to open the valve and keep it open. Much more current is required and so more heating. Those are usually metal and can be used for liquid of gas.The metal acts as heat sink for the solenoid.
If you are going to keep the valve open for more than a few minutes, the motor driven ball valve is the best option.
