Help me using MPU6050 GY-521

I’m trying to use my MPU6050 through library named MPU6050 electronic cats

I tried to run the library’s example, however it always fails at testConnection()

I also looked into the library’s source code, but I couldn’t comprehended what are required to make the function return true.

(Sorry for nasty setup and picture. I will get better picture if you need one)

This is my current setup. I did the soldering job myself, and it is connected to Arduino Nano.

VCC is connected at 5v(also tried 3v), and SCL, SDA are connected in A5, A6(though, I tried pretty much every successive combination with those, like A3 4, A2 3, A1 2, I even tried switching each other.).

What did I miss?

SDA is A4 and SCL is A5

Which pins are you actually using ?

Does an I2C scanner find you device ?

Yeah.. it seems that my 3 hours really couldn’t think that pin combination was not conducted somehow..

Thanks, the library is now able to find my device
