You'll need an amplifier to power an 8ohm speaker plugged into the audio jack. Worth reading documentation: https://docs.arduino.cc/tutorials/giga-r1-wifi/giga-audio/

I found the easiest way is to just use a pair of external PC speakers. Cheap to purchase online, if you don't have any. E.g. on Amazon:
