His technique to run two cars on one track is genius.

I got a Tyco slot car set when I was 10 I think. $49.99 or something like that at the time. It was fun...for a while but lacked a certain whelming.

This guy has the slot car panache.

This guy's using a PLC for his half scale pinsetter but these days I guess an OPTA could be made to serve.

I find this project fascinating. It is an 8 bit computer made by James Bates from just basic logic elements. The project even includes an assembler. It is only loosely linked to Arduino but the mechanism to load the eeproms with the microcode is with a Nano.

This, IMHO, is amazing.
A lot of the knowledge there just goes over my head, but the little I understand, (again), is amazing.
