Hi!
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post, but I'm having some issues homing my 3D printer.
I have a creality ender 5 and recently added a hemera direct drive extruder. I was able to burn a bootloader with an Arduino uno, and successfully flash Marlin 1.1.9 (using the ender 5 firmware and hemera installation on an ender 3 tutorials from youtuber teaching tech).
The one thing I cant seem to get right is homing my printer. Before updating it, the printer would hit the x and y endstops lightly, back off of them, and then would move back and slowly trigger them (in the back right corner) and then the bed would raise.
Now, when auto homing the printer, it moves to the front right corner (wrong corner), and if I touch an endstop manually, I get the message, "Homing Failed Printer Halted Please Restart"
When I first powered up my printer after flashing new firmware, it would home to the correct corner, and ram into the y endstop, and then would fail when I manually hit the x endstop (need to print a new mount for the x endstop since the current mount would have the hemera ramming into the printer frame). At the same time, if I manually moved the nozzle +10mm, it would actually move in the "-" direction. When I inverted the y direction, it fixed the directional issue, but now homes in the wrong corner.
I did download pronterface and ran the M119 command and found out all 3 endstops are open when not pressed so I think I'm good here but would really love some guidance for possible fixes as I am very new to using arduino ide. Attached is a txt file of my config.h. If anyone sees potential issues and could help me out it would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
