You should show some own effort through providing the datasheet of this sensor
You should either take a picture from exact vertically above to make visible which wire is connected to what IO-pin
or
draw a freehand schematic of the wiring
are these wires just plugged in or are the pins soldered?
How does the soldering look like ? (cold junctions or not?)
How much current does the sensor draw?
From where is the sensor powered?
There are wires that are outside the pictures and the colors are different
This means it is unclear what is connected to what?

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?
Hand drawn and photographed is perfectly acceptable.
Please include ALL hardware, power supplies, component names and pin labels.

This requires to invest 20 minutes of your precious time to read how to speedup solving your problems.

I have a sensor and I need to operate it. What is the correct method for the connection process? A laser sensor for measuring distance and identifying things. I connected and wrote a code, but the readings are incorrect, and the Arduino program for this sensor does not contain its own library.

Well this sentence does not help at all.
You will have to provide the details what sensor you are using.
You will have to provide a datasheet of this sensor
without these detail-informations it is impossible to help
except saying such tooo much generalised things like
"connect the correct wires"
"adjust the correct baudrate"
You will immidiately ask back
"what wires to what?"
How should anybody know without the datasheet???

Post a datasheet of your sensor
or
at least post a link to the shop where you have bought the sensor
