How do I wire a three-connection snap-action switch/limit switch on a breadboard?

Definitely a noob question, but I can't figure out how to wire a three connection limit switch/snap action switch on a breadboard.

You will have to hep me. What is a bump switch and how do you have it wired?

Give us a link to your switch.

How do I wire a three-connection bump switch on a breadboard?

My first thought would be very carefully. Maybe with screws or glue? Solder comes to mind also.

Bump switch as in a micro switch? I am not quite sure what a bump switch is? This would go much better with a link to the switch or picture and also exactly what you are trying to do. A schematic would also help because the answer is in the details.

Ron

the better name would be snap action switch, my bad

My bad, the proper name would be snap action switch.

Solder 24 AWG solid wire to the 3 terminals, plug wires into breadboard.

OR

Better still solder 24 AWG stranded wires to the terminals, put a Dupont male pin on each wire end.

Please, anyone and everyone: do not change history by editing a previous post or reply!
I read two replies that mention a bump switch but it was not stated in the original post.
I thought I was loosing my senses! That practice is even worst when a schematic is altered.
Someone may reply that the Q2 should be a PNP and I look back and it IS a PNP. What dah?

You want to stop a flood by putting your finger in the dike!

Bump Switch was clearly stated in the original post . The original post and topic referred to a bump switch. I quoted the original thread title. This is why myself and Paul referenced a bump switch in our replies. The original thread title and the original post was changed. Not something I can control. Limit and snap action came later. Yes, what duh?

Now with a link to the switch just make sure you get the Common, N/O and N/C wired correctly.

there are a few posts about mounting switches, LEDs, etc. on perfboard for connecting to the breadboard.

Good memory.
