I'm working on a project to play music via a speaker and DF Player connected to a bread board, and I'd like to connect some buttons to the DF Player to play the music when a button is pressed.
If these are the buttons I'm using, would I need any extra wiring to connect them to the bread board?
Shouldn't. The ends are tinned so if the wire isn't too thick they should go in and hold ok. I'd use small pliers or sturdy tweezers and grip as close as possible to the tinned part while you push the wire in. It probably wouldn't hurt either to push it in in stages because, even though the wire is tinned and seems solid remember, it's only solder and can be easily bent. You may have to strip a bit of insulation to insure the wire goes in far enough to make secure contact with the fingers in the breadboard.
It's be instructive to contact the seller to find out the wire gauge to be sure. They seem hinky based of some of the reviews.
Even a rudimentary panel to mount the switches in will be a great help, too.
I find breadboards difficult at times. I need a solid pin, just the right size, and never have I been able to shove a stranded (soldered) wire into a breadboard. Even solid copper wire messes me up. So, I exercise my breadboarss with a sturdy brass pin to "woller" the hole so I am not bending pins connected to expensive (US$2) devices.
