I used 2 CR2032 (6V in total) and connect them with L7805CV, so that I could have a 5V supply for arduino nano board.
The strangest part is the dfplayer mini doesn't work, but the out led worked normally...
May I ask is there any other way to make a suitable external supply for a nano board with dfplayer mini?
many thanks😓
Give please your wiring diagram.
@marveldchero, your topic has been moved to a more suitable location on the forum.
Really CR2032? For what purpose?
CR2032 - Maximum discharge current: 3 mA. Maximum pulse discharge current: 15 mA.
Probably needs more power. Maybe with 3 or 4 R6 batteries will work.
The first rough calculations give the following.
The quiescent (standby) current of your devices:
L7805CV - 5 mA
Arduino Nano - 15mA
DFPlayer Mini - 20mA
Total 40 mA.
It has already been said above that CR2032 has a maximum discharge current of 3mA.
What are you going to do with this?
Even if the CR2032 can withstand the current of your project, it will last a few hours of work, it has a capacity of a couple of hundred mAh.
