I'm searching for documents about communicate between esp8266 and PLC FX3u via modbus rtu I have searched for it many days and I don't know how to do it.
Has anyone done this project before? or have documents about this?

Try adding "RS485" into your search. Also decide if the 8266 is going to be the master or slave device.
I'm sure that you will find information on the 8266 and RS485.
yeah i found some information but it's not very clear. i get overview how to connect but i get some problem too. example: i push the button connect with esp8266, now i want to send this to M register of FX3u via rs485 to control the output Y0 but i don't know how to do it.
I don't know if it will help, but this project was made with ESP32.
